Oklahomans wants an education system where every child can achieve success.
I believe that education is the cornerstone of society and that public education must be supported and funded fully.

To assure that our education system is of the quality our children deserve, we must increase the salaries of our teachers. Right now, the minimum salary a first year teacher in Oklahoma is between $29k and $31K and we are losing great teachers to Texas and other states that pay better – we must increase teacher pay!

Higher education tuition has been going up year after year – we must secure loans and grants for students. Next year, tax payers from Oklahoma City are paying for tax cuts to the richest 10%. Instead of giving those tax cuts, we could use the $271.8 million dollars to give 13,298 scholarships to college students for four years. We must invest in our children's education!
